How Sportswomen’s Achievements make Women’s Day Livelier

March 8th, the International Women’s Day:  the day when almost half the world celebrates the other half. This is the day, when most men make it a point to shower love, respect and thanks to the women in the family and at workplace.

Though it has taken centuries for the obvious bit of wisdom that women are as good as men and men are as good as women to hit us on the head and though it’s still a man’s world for lots of women, life is distinctly better for more women today. That’s what we must all be proud of and cheer and why women’s day is a great day for the world. And, certainly sportswomen round the world have struck many blows for women’s cause, with their brilliant performances. As there’re millions of sportswomen round the world it’s not possible to list all their achievements. Still let’s salute nine of them.
